About me
My name is Ashley Homstad, and as a multi-passionate woman, you will find me wearing a few different hats!
I am a Certified Organic Intelligence Human Empowerment and Resiliency Coach, a Licensed Master Social Worker, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. My experience with each of these professions has taught me how to approach well-being holistically and draw from a wide range of resources and interventions to support my client's growth. My longing for a more just, peaceful, and compassionate world has been my guiding compass to specialize in the field of body psychotherapy.
Most of my therapeutic, bodywork, and coaching experiences were integrated while living and working in nature-based programs in one of the world’s most biologically diverse regions, Hawaii Island. While learning and growing there, I met my now husband and our rescue kitty, Jaws, and we have since relocated to the Driftless region in the Midwest to be more involved in our family’s forest and prairie restoration projects. Connecting and communion with nature has been and continues to be a significant organizing support in my life. I hope over the course of working together you too will experience deeper insight and embodiment of the organizing supports awaiting integration within your unique physiology.
Some of my favorite hobbies outside of work include going on walks in the forest with my husband, relaxing in a cozy spot at a coffee shop or in my house to read, participating in local community song circles, watching funny vidoes online or on tv, and experimenting with random arts and craft projects.
